Things to Know / FAQs

Expectations

What is your weather policy?

During our season, we are open rain or shine. If it starts raining during a water activity, you continue boating. If it starts thundering/ lightening, pull over to the bank and stay on the shore. Wait on shore until there is 20 minutes of no lighting/thunder generally storms pass through quickly, but if there is an extreme situation call us and we will make arrangements. Once the thunder/lightning stops, continue the water activity. If we have to close due to severe weather or unsafe water levels, we will contact our guests with reservations and post on all Social Media outlets.

Can I bring personal items?

Do not take anything on any of our activities that you do not wish to lose or cannot get wet. If you drop it in the river, it’s most likely gone forever. This includes cell phones, electronics, jewelry, wallets, keys, etc. We are not responsible for any items lost or damaged that you bring. You may lock personal belongings in your car, and we will keep your keys securely for you while you are on the river if you like.

What should I wear?

You should wear your bathing suit or shorts, basically anything you are comfortable getting wet in for any water activity. Footwear is required (sport sandals with a back on them, old sneakers, water shoes/socks etc.) For river trips you will be on the water for two or more hours, so we also recommend that you bring sunscreen and something to drink.

Can I just come by to eat, drink and hang out?

Yes, but only on the days when we are offering Day Pass entry for the River Outpost. Check out more information about our Day/Monthly/ Annual Passes including our calendar of offerings.
